For babies 16 to 18 months old

This study will take place on a live video call, live with a researcher! Clicking on the “Participate Now!” button will send you to an online calendar where you can select a date and time that works for you.

During this study, your baby will play interactive games using your camera, such as clapping at the computer screen to turn on fairy lights. At the end, you will also be asked to complete a short survey about your baby’s motor development.

Our lab studies whether babies are intrinsically curious about what their developing minds and bodies can do. To test this question, we’ve designed a series of virtual games that babies can operate just by interacting with the camera. The purpose of this study is to playtest these games to make sure that they are fun and developmentally appropriate for 16- to 18- month olds.
