Harvard Lab for Developmental Studies (Thomas) (Harvard University)
Who Can Participate |
This online study is for infants who are based in the U.S. |
What Happens |
Your baby will watch characters interact, and then one of the characters will show distress by frowning and crying. We will measure where your baby looks. |
What We're Studying |
Despite the role of caregiving relationships in the lives of infants and children, little is known about how infants think about these relationships when they are not involved in them. Previous studies suggest that infants use size differences to recognize caregiving relationships. In this study, we are interested in who infants think are more likely to comfort others based on their size. |
