What Happens

In this study, your child will be presented with colorful images and movie clips. We are interested in how infants learn, remember, and pay attention to different stimuli.

What We're Studying

From a young age, babies naturally look at things that grab their attention. However, we know less about how they develop the sophisticated ability to intentionally control where they focus their attention — such as deciding to look away from one thing and shift their gaze to something else. This study aims to understand how babies control their attention. Specifically, we are interested in how quickly babies can switch from where they were looking before to where they should be looking now.
