GARDEN Feedback Survey for Parents and Caregivers

GARDEN Feedback Survey for Parents and Caregivers

Project GARDEN (The University of Texas at Dallas)

Who Can Participate

Parents/Caregivers who have had a child complete many Project GARDEN modules, including the Family Information Survey, and are able to understand and answer questions in English.

What Happens

In this Project GARDEN survey, you (the caregiver) will complete a brief survey about your experiences with Project GARDEN. This survey is only for you (your child does not need to be present), and only one survey needs to be completed per family. The survey includes further directions and information.

What We're Studying

Project GARDEN was a research project supported by the National Science Foundation with two major goals: (1) to make it easier for families to participate in research and (2) to better understand how children develop over time in lots of different ways. The responses to this survey ask you about you and your child’s experiences with Project GARDEN so that we can learn what went well and how to improve online child development research in the future.

Duration

5-10 minutes

Compensation

After you finish the survey, we will email you a $5 Amazon.com gift card within seven business days. To be eligible for the gift card, your child must have met all eligibility criteria (for example, be the right age for the study, already have participated in relevant Project GARDEN studies, including the Family Information Survey) and you must record a valid consent video on Children Helping Science. Each parent or caregiver can only participate once and receive one gift card.

This study is conducted by Mark Sheskin (contact: msheskin@minerva.edu).
