Your child will interact with different characters and answer a series of questions in each game. As your child completes each activity, they will discover more animals for their zoo. Your child will need your (parent's) help to navigate these games.

What We're Studying

Young children are constantly influenced by others, like their friends, teachers, and parents. Does it matter who children learn things from? Do children tend to trust some people more than others? We study this question by asking your child to play a letter memory game and a quantity guessing game alone and with some characters, and we want to see how children's answers relate to the answers they hear from other people. This study will help us understand social impacts on children's performance on simple cognitive tasks. Broadly, research like ours will help us understand how social factors interact with the developing minds.
