In this study, you and your child will watch two short videos of Elmo and Grover meeting new friends. After each video, your child will be asked to choose the person they think knows Elmo or Grover's favorite toy. |

We are interested in how children infer and judge others' knowledge and preferences in social situations. Specifically, we are interested in scenarios where children observe an adult interacting with someone else, rather than being directly involved in the interaction themselves. |
