This study will take place on a video call, live with two researchers. Clicking on the “Participate Now!” button will send you to an online calendar where you can select a date and time that works for you.

During the study, you will be asked to take a seat on a chair and put your baby on your lap. Your baby will be presented with videos about two people’s musical interactions. They will engage in different types of interactions including collaborative/non-collaborative ways of making music. We will record your baby’s looking patterns to measure their understanding about their social interactions. You will be with your baby at all times.

You will also be asked to fill out a consent form, that can take 5-10 minutes total, which will be emailed with a link to you before your scheduled time.

現在の研究・調査

This study is about how infants understand and learn about the social world. We specifically aim to investigate what influences infants’ understanding of others’ sharing behaviors. This study builds on previous findings that experiencing collaborative or similar behaviors promotes children’s prosocial behaviors. This study will contribute to our knowledge of infants’ understanding of prosocial behaviors.
