研究・調査の流れ

This study will take place on a video call, live with a researcher! Clicking on the “Schedule a time to participate” button will send you to an online calendar where you can select a date and time that works for you. We will be playing two short games with your child. First, they will count the animals in different pictures to assess their knowledge of number words (e.g., 4, 5, 6). In the second game, your child will see pictures that contain two groups of animals. They will count the animals in each group and decide which group has more.

現在の研究・調査

This study helps us understand how children learn words like more, some, most, and all, and how this connects to their growing understanding of numbers.
By looking at how children count and compare groups, we can learn how they begin to link number words (like 4, 5, 6) with ideas like “which group has more.” This helps us understand how early language and number knowledge develop together.
