研究・調査の流れ

In this study, your child will watch a video instructing them to help Charlie the bee decide which garden has more flowers. Then, they will complete 120 trials where they look at two images and have to click on which has more as quickly as they can.

現在の研究・調査

The purpose of this study is to learn more about how children make decisions about numbers and amounts. We are interested in whether feeling more confident affects the way children make choices, especially when they are solving more difficult problems. In particular, we want to know if feeling more confident effects overall engagement or can even increase sensitivity to differences in number. What we learn may help researchers and educators better understand how children learn new math concepts and improve teaching methods.
